We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the abundance and clarity of the Southern San (Bushmen) rock art at Bushman's Kloof.

More walking at Bushman's Kloof; in addition to the rock art the area also has a fascinating array of fauna and flora, including many endemic bird species.

Our Bushman's Kloof guide, Andrè, was knowledgeable, entertaining and very caring of our well-being; in fact he was admirably suited for the job!

The Cedarberg area in which Bushman's Kloof is located, is one of the most scenically beautiful areas in all of South Africa.

The Table Mountain Sandstone (TMS) of the Cedarberg is constantly being weathered and is slowly fragmenting over many eons. Here Kathleen is standing in front of the remaining portion of a rock which had practically split in half, about a year earlier.
